About Painting
In this painting, I tried to capture the essence of the relationship between Mary as a young child and her mother, Saint Anne. Drawing from Catholic tradition, I wanted to reflect on the period Mary spent under the care of her parents before her consecration to God. The use of vivid and complementary colors was a deliberate choice to breathe life into the narrative and to visually express the love, warmth, and connection that exists between a mother and her child.
