Michelangelo sculpted the original Madonna of the Stairs around age 15, already showing his mastery.
In my recreation I focused on subtle transitions and delicate nuances between forms, creating the effect of sculpture on the paper.
The drawing is 9.5″x11″ of size, executed using charcoal and pastel pencils on paper. The drawing has been sealed with a protective fixative. It will be shipped free of charge within US countries.
